Sika strengthened its presence in West Africa by establishing a national subsidiary in Ghana. The move supports the growing local construction market with closer technical service, a dedicated customer base and locally available specialist construction products.
Operating from the Accra Tema Industrial Zone, Sika Ghana initially focused on concrete admixtures and grinding aids, with engineered mortars and tile adhesives added to the local offering. The investment reflects demand created by Ghana's expanding infrastructure and building sectors.
Local operations make it easier to respond to contractors, designers and asset owners who need reliable systems for bonding, sealing, reinforcing and protecting structures. The subsidiary also creates a stronger platform for technical training and product support within Ghana.
